Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden

The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden was opened in 1967 in celebration of Canada's Centennial and as a symbol of Japanese and Canadian friendship, which is the meaning of the name, Nikka Yuko.

The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden is open from mid-May to mid October.  An entrance fee is charged.

Hostesses in traditional kimono will guide you through the Pavilion giving you insight into the many details of the garden.

We invite you to follow the meandering path to discover the garden at your own pace. The garden changes throughout the year and even throughout the day.  Special passes are available to allow you to return again and again to enjoy the beautiful changes in the garden.
