Streets Alive

Streets Alive has been running since 1989. First as an outreach of Victory Church who fed Lethbridge street people on Sunday and Wednesday nights.

This evolved into a full time mission including a drop-in centre that is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Here, clients may receive clothing referrals, advocacy, trips to detox, access to phones and faxes, resume service, and an evening feeding program as well as other services.

Overnight, we are a sleeping shelter with a capacity of 40 mats. There is also a 10 bed crisis unit for men who are struggling with being on the streets and need help back into viable living. Breakfast is also served each morning. We have a 16 unit home called Parkside Home for men out of crisis who seriously want to straighten up their lives and are willing to live under a tightly structured living arrangement.

Our focus is God-centred, and our mission is faith-based. If you want to know what is happening at the centre of the city of Lethbridge, we invite you to access our website for more information.
